 After the benefit single to help people of Haiti, Deryck took part in " A Place Called Home's 4th Annual Celebrity Bowling and Poker Tournament" to raise money for a non-profit youth center in Los Angeles. Evan Taubenfeld, Nick Cannon, Boo Boo Stewart, Victoria Hesketh and many other celebrities were also there to support the cause. Now the results are being handed out one by one by each judge, and we are seeing which of the contestants will make it through to the bootcamp stage of our contest. Deryck is taking part in this great initiative to help people of Haiti. Avril Lavigne, Bryan Adams, Nelly Furtado and Nickleback are just a few of the Canadian artists to record the song "Wavin' Flag" originally by K'naan. Due to personal schedules, surprise site downtime, and the lack of time available because of that, we have decided to extend the entrance dates 5 days. All members will have more time to prepare their very important audition! As said before Bandaids X Factor was first originated on Bandaids to allow musical talent on Bandaids to be noticed by an audience. All you crazy musicians out there, I have very good news! Bandaids X Factor is back! Yes, the chance to show off your singing skills to the world is now upon you! Over a series of auditions, performances, and member polls budding musicians/singers will battle it out to be crowned the most talented music act on Bandaids - and there's over 100,000 of you here so that would be a huge accomplishment!! Last year Bandaids X Factor brought in over 30,000 views from members, over 1,000 votes, and even lead to one of our finalists getting a position in her school band as a singer (Hey Theresa! haha). Yes Bandaids X Factor is truly a great oppurtunity for starting musicians to finally get heard by an audience! The auditions begin on February 15th, and more details will be revealed as the comeptition reveals itself! Only days ago yet another fantastic addition to the Bandaider family was announced, and with that, we now bring you the unveiling of the next band to join the network. The world famous 3 piece, located in the UK, slowly made a name for themselves in the late nineties and were living it large in the mainstream punk industry. Claiming this image of themselves was not so accurate, the release of their 2006 record launched them into the mainstream and the following summer in 2007, they played their largest shows ever at Wembley Stadium, London. 2009 brought us their most recent release, bringing us such hits as Uprising and Undisclosed Desires.
